We are currently hiring R&D Automotive Engineering documentation Engineer in Pune, below are the requirement in order 

Preparation of R&D output documents (Product release notes, Engineering change notes) for the different variants of commercial vehicles.
Release & maintenance of R&D output documents (Product release notes, Engineering change notes) for the different variants of commercial vehicles.
Preparation of Material master and its maintenance in SAP.
Preparation of Bills of material, updating of BOM & maintenance in SAP.
Support for Aftersales activity in Aftersales documentations (Allocation of new part numbers, providing sketches for catalogue).
Support with in R&D for on existing vehicles.
Communication & Interaction with MTB & Pithampur.
Minimum 3-4 years experience in preparation, release, maintenance of R&D engineering documents (drawings, product release, engineering changes).
Good understanding of vehicle BOM structure and processes related to documentation.
Working Knowledge in Material master & Bills of Material in SAP. Understanding of the functional and physical interactions between vehicle sub-systems.
Knowledge of all national, international and legislative standards/regulations. (Like AIS, IS, ISO, DIN, IEC CMVR, EEC, ECE, FMVSS, VDA etc.)
Should have good knowledge in problem solving techniques
Good interpersonal skills, Communication skills, presentation silks and Team player

Job description / Mission 
As a Design engineer (Technical Writer) you will create, write, produce and accurately maintain instruction and installation manuals and associated amendments/ addendums to the highest quality and standard for Compressor technique and integrated systems products. 
The technical documents and publications will need to adhere to pre-defined CT manual and documentation standards. 
Edit (copy) write, update and create Instruction books.
-Collect, evaluate, check and complete all information
-Describe the operation of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical and Elektronikon systems, PLC,
-Write detailed instructions for installing, operating and servicing the machines, maintenance schedule, problem solving, technical data, safety precautions,... for the instruction books
-Take into account Marketing and Aftermarket points of view
-Creation of the books via a content management system
-Publish all content in several formats (eg pdf, CD-Rom, GPB,...)
-The author is in close corporation with engineering and marketing responsible for all English texts, illustrations, content, and has the final responsibility for the structure in the content management system.

Experience Requirements 
You should have proven experience in mechanical design.
Experience from working with product information
Excellent knowledge of English, verbally and in writing
A good communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
Well organized and able to operate independently
A team player that will share information with colleagues and help develop the group.

Knowledge / Educational requirements 
BE/B. Tech in Mechanical Engineering/ Diploma with 3 to 5 years of experience.

Personality requirements 
Very good communicator, with the ability to work in a team of engineers
Dynamic and energetic.
Good listening and communication skills.
Willing to accept the challenges and convert them into success.
Good planner and systematic organizer.
